Shoppers will be able to discuss their policing concerns
The police will be on hand in Maidstone town centre over the next few months to talk to residents about their crime concerns.
The neighborhood policing team will host sessions twice a month for shoppers and residents in Jubilee Square to talk about issues in the district.
Sessions will run from 12pm until 2pm on August 8 and 22, September 5 and 19, October 3 and 17 and November 7 and 21.
Police community support officer Caroline Honeysett said: “We have held the sessions before and they have been very successful, so we have now booked in regular slots over the coming months.
“There are many different ways to contact the police and this is an opportunity for shoppers to stop by and say hello and for us to offer crime prevention tips. Maidstone town centre is a great place and we want to help make sure that everyone has a safe and fun time when they visit.”
